Wilma Deepening on Approach to Florida

Tonight Wilma is deepening and the pressure is dropping as it approaches the southwest coast of Florida. The 8pm NHC update has the winds currently at 110mph and the central pressure has dropped to 958mb. A Category 3 hurricane is now looking more likely at landfall with Collier County expected to get the brunt of the hurricane with 116mph winds. Palm Beach County is expected to get 98mph winds at 10am Monday morning. Jim Williams is currently broadcasting his hurricane warning show live from South Florida where he is detailing county by county reviews on what you can expect from this hurricane. This storm is now poised to be the worst hurricane to hit South Florida since Hurricane Andrew.
