First Cape Verde Storm of the Year?

A rather well defined system is about to exit the coast of Africa and could be our first Cape Verde storm of the season. It looks rather impressive on satellite today, keep an eye on this one as it exits the coast. Some models show this system actually making it across the Atlantic. It is time for a real Cape Verde storm to break loose and reach the Lesser Antilles Islands as a tropical system. A seperate area to watch is around 28N / 72W off the East Coast. Stay tuned....

I am seeing something now at 22N 60W. What do you think of that? Nice presentation on satellite this morning.
