Tropical Low Forming

This morning the National Hurricane Center has released a special statement about a Tropical Depression that is currently forming about 140 miles south of Cape Fear, NC. This depression could prompt Tropical Storm warnings for the North Carolina and Southeastern Virginia coast this afternoon. It was pretty evident that we were in the middle of tropical air mass yesterday as I traveled up to the Virginia coast. The humidity in the air was thick and the clouds were beautiful. We must have traveled through 4 heavy thunderstorms during the 3 hour trip. My wife captured these images from the car as we made the road trip up for my Grand Aunts Funeral. God Bless You Virginia Wilson, We All Love You and will Miss You! I will be capturing images and video from Virginia as this storm forms and moves up the coast.
