Another Home Grown System?

As forecast on Friday, the tropical wave to the east of the Bahama's has been announced as 92L.Invest by the Navy this morning. Current model runs are showing that Florida may have a storm to deal with in the coming days. Upper level wind shear is forecast to subside in the next 24 hours. The water in this area is very warm and we could see a system gain strength very quickly. So far this year, we have had 4 storms form in this area and travel due West into Florida and the Gulf of Mexico or up the East Coast. Katrina, Rita, and Ophelia have all formed in this general area and affected the US mainland.
