This photograph was taken over the Lafayette River as a rotating supercell moved over the cities of Newport News and Hampton, Va around 10:10pm EST October 27,2010. I have a perfect view once the clouds from the base cleared out. This was shot with my Nikon D90 and 12-24mm Tokina Lens on a tripod.
