Today's Storms

It was a weird day of storm activity here in central North Carolina. Temperatures, humidity and dew points were all low, but we had a low pressure system to our northeast that created a nice northwesterly flow into the area. With the heating of the day and the cold temperatures aloft we got some beautiful clouds and pulse type severe storms that would last for around 10-15 minutes then calm down. It made for some nice pictures. We had one storm go severe here in west central Orange County around 5:30pm EST near Efland. You can view my gallery of today's pictures here. Here is a picture of the Severe Storm in Orange County near Efland around 5:30pm EST.
