I woke up this morning to the sound of my weather alert for a severe thunderstorm in Orange County, NC. I had just enough time to grab my camera and head for the window before the storm actually hit (So the quality isn’t great). We had some wicked lightning and marble size hail that lasted for about a minute.This is my first attempt at putting the video up in a podcast format, so hopefully it works out well. I will be chasing more later this afternoon when more storms are expected.

That thunder was really clapping. The hail pretty much came up as suddenly as it stopped...crazy stuff. I miss the thunderstorms out here in SF, where we are lucky to get 1 thunderstorm a year.
