Favorite Photo Of The Year

I chased down numerous storms this year, but this picture of the downdraft circulation right above my backyard this summer has to be my favorite. It's not often you can capture the chaos of the downdraft in a severe thunderstorm. This picture shows it pretty well. As the local meteorolgist who saw these pictures said, "i wouldn't want to be on an airplane in that storm." Happy New Year to everyone! See you in 2006 with better pictures and video.
